Ross Durand was raised in Southern California on a steady diet of classical music and Beatles. He started learning music starting at age 9. Like so many kids he picked up a guitar at 16 to start a band with his friends. Ross's musical life changed in June of 86 when he watched Dylan perform "A Hard Rain's a Gonna Fall" to 20,000 (suddenly) silent audience members. The power of a simple song has been his inspiration ever since. His favorite thing to do is to get someone's attention - and hopefully make them think a little - with a few chords and some thoughtful lyrics.
