We know that every artist/band is unique. This is why we created SongPlanet.com. To provide a place where Independent music can be heard, and where Independent artists can find great personal service and the right tools for their needs. Rather than cookie-cutters, we're master chefs!
So, what is this Pro Artist stuff, anyway?
Simply put, it's a suite of professionally built and managed Web tools created especially for the music industry that can be added and customized (or "branded," for you marketing types), individually or collectively, to an existing Web site - or - they can be customized and hosted entirely on the SongPlanet servers.

The affiliate residual program is a way you can earn money from selling SongPlanet Pro Artist plans. It's pretty simple - we'll setup a page specifically for you (pretty much like this one) where you can point potential buyers - if they purchase one of the Pro Artist plans, we'll pay you 10% commission and you'll continue to receive that commission every year or month, depending on their subscription. NOTE: the commission amount is based on the net after transaction fee* (see below)
Who are we and what can we do?
Ask any of the artists that are here and they'll tell you that two of the things they like best about SongPlanet is the personal service and the "no BS" attitude. We don't promise heaven and earth - when something is $10, we don't say "$9.99" - what we do promise is the best personal service of any artist site on the Internet!
We have Internet knowledge and experience that goes back to the beginning of time (Internet time, that is!), including Web site usability studies (what average people find easy to use!), eye-tracking studies (what elements of a Web page catch a person's eye) and cross platform/browser expertise (what works best for the highest number of different users).
We're also musicians, like you!

* Net after transaction fee - this refers to the amount actually transferred to the SongPlanet account, and then your account, after Paypal fees are deducted. Basically, this means that if a song is sold for $1 and Paypal takes .30 cents, the "net after transaction fee" total is .70 cents. More info is available here.
