This song contains two major concepts. The first draws attention to our tendency to view people based on their emotional baggage--the psychological cuts and scrapes one picks up along the way. The second idea is that perhaps what this world needs is a good, long shower--a rainstorm to wash away the chaos and destruction we've visited on ourselves as well as the planet.
