- Affiliate Residual Program
The affiliate residual program is a way you can earn money from selling SongPlanet Pro Artist plans. It's pretty simple - we'll setup a page specifically for you (pretty much like this one) where you can point potential buyers - if they purchase one of the Pro Artist plans, we'll pay you 10% commission and you'll continue to receive that commission every year or month, depending on their subscription. NOTE: the commission amount is based on the net after transaction fee* (see below)

* Net after transaction fee - this refers to the amount actually transferred to the SongPlanet account, and then your account, after Paypal fees are deducted. In a scenario for an artist with the "Free Artist" plan, this means that when a song is sold for $1 and Paypal takes 2.9% + 30 cents, the "net after transaction fee" total is 67 cents. Minus SongPlanet's 25% - the artist makes 50 cents. More info is

- Song Sales Details/Stats
- Digital downloads are priced at $1 per song for 192 KBPS MP3 files.
- Payments to the artist for song sales are made quarterly (Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1 and Oct 1) via Paypal when there is at least $20 owed the artist. If the amount is less than $20, it will be carried over to the next quarter. If the amount remains less than $20 through the first three quarters, the balance will be paid in full on Jan 1.
