David Fair Location: Nashville, TN
David Fair is a breath of fresh air to the Pop Alternative Rock/World Music Scene. Expressing an honesty that is touching audiences wherever he performs, his material and live shows dramatically affect audiences. David was born to a musical and songwriting family and spent his youth surrounded by music. By age 8 he was acting, singing, dancing, and playing drums. At age 15 David formed his first band, "Walt - Dizzy". Creating a southern hard rock sound they opened up for bands such as Steppenwolf and headlined local shows throughout the South while developing a strong following. Still in his teens David then joined the hard rock metal band Medicine Mann as front man and co-songwriter and toured the south, opening for such bands as: Quiet Riot, Skid - Row, Warrant, Twistesd Sister, and I Mother Earth. In 1999 he moved to San Francisco to develop his solo career and broaden his musical focus to all forms of rock and world music. The David of today expressess all that is good in Pop while maintaining the edginess of his hard rock and metal influences.
