Billy Wilcosky
 Location: Atlanta, GA

Billy went from playing the tennis racket on the fireplace in front of family and friends as a kid to the stage with a real guitar shortly after high school. It was with his first high school garage band that he realized how big his love for music really was. "It's almost like I'm in another world", Billy says when talking about why he loves playing music, especially for others.

At the age of 18, Billy started getting more and more serious about songwriting and it was around this time that Billy had his first show, just him and his guitar, at a local coffee shop near his home. Billy's fan base quickly grew and he always got tons of positive feedback where ever he played. In fact, he started getting requests from people to play at weddings and other venues almost immediately. He played at venues like Eddie's Attic and the Atlanta Brewery which had an audience of over 200 college students. In 2003, Billy wrote one of his biggest songs to date "Katie" which got him into the top three at the Eddie's Attic open mic competition and also got him runner up in the SongoftheYear.com contest. This song can be downloaded for free now in the download section of his website listentobilly.com.

In 2005 Billy decided to give his solo work a rest and venture back into the band scene. With college friend Ryan Enloe, he started his biggest band to date Chasing Katie. The band played at many major venues in Atlanta, GA including: 10 high, 99X Locals Only (Wild Wings), Masquerade, Vinyl, Swayzes, and many more! The band was signed to Lost Cat Records and released an album called "Holt Road" (more info. on this album is in the Discography section of his site). This album can be purchased from all the major music download sites like iTunes and Napster.Shockingly to the fans, the band suddenly split in November of 2006 at the top of their game. Here's what Billy had to say about the band - "It was a year and 8 months of creating fun, exhilarating rock music with some really good musicians. It's too bad it had to end. But, some members were getting burnt out, and wanted to do other things with their lives. No hard feelings here, it was a blast!"

Now, a year after Chasing Katie, Billy is back, diving head first into his solo music again. To kick it all off, he released a new album on December 1, 2007! The album is called "Running Blindfolded" and is for sale right here and at many other online music stores. You can download one of the songs off the album for free in the download section of his site. The free song is called "Listen Up!" and is the third track off the new album. This track is also featured on singer songwriter Neil Young's website with other 'anti-war' songs. With the new album he plans on playing his music live once again around the Atlanta, GA area and beyond.
