Loyd (The Human) Vandergriff is the heart and soul of The Human Project. He writes all the music and lyrics and when he gets ready to record, he gets some musicians together and goes into the studio as..."The Human Project." He recorded his first CD of 9 original songs in June of 2006. This effort was known as "The Real Stuff," and put Loyd on the map. He has just completed his new CD, Human Project II, Humanized. It contains 10 more original songs. Loyd is becoming well known for his lyrics that can be easily related to, and the beat and sound of his music. He is now played regularly on many internet sites including Mark Kerr's Blues nation, Kansas City online radio and Hot Rocks Radio. Many of his songs are played on various overseas stations and he has won many songwriting awards. The Human Project rarely performs live, but when they do, it is a real treat.
