SongPlanet Saves The Planet Location: Loveland, Colorado
... a little bit at a time.
On January 4, 2008, the very first SongPlanet Saves The Planet Music Showcase took place in Loveland, Colorado, to benefit the conservation organization Idea Wild. More than 200 tickets were sold, and the Loveland/Ft. Collins media gave a lot of space to the event.

All photos with "four_feathers_photography" in the file name are available from Marcus Edwards of Four Feathers Photography in Loveland, CO.

SongPlanet.com lined up four great SongPlanet Artists--The Moondogs, Prymal Rhythm, Pat Carr, and Michael Stone..
Mike Foster of Avalanche opened the show with his song "SongPlanet Blues" and joined in with Pat Carr's Band.
Wally VanSickle, founder of Idea Wild gave brief presentations on their projects in between. A portion of the event proceeds will go to Idea Wild projects to conserve bio-diversity across the Planet.
The show was a huge success, and there is already talk of future SPSTP events. Check back here to see more info on SPSTP shows and events!
