Iceberg Noel is Shane Iceberg & Shannon Noel.

After meeting in the spring of ’95 the pair began writing and recording together. “Mr. Holland’s Opium” is the result – a psychedelic blend of rock and alternative sounds with soul-grabbing lyrics.

Iceberg has toured with a host of other bands including country sensation Joe Nichols, Marty Haggard, and the 5th Wheel Band. A multi-instrumentalist, he plays all of the instruments on the CD except the keys on one song (performed instead on that song by Ms. Noel) and the drums. He also produces for other artists (most recently Tony “Hobo” Parks on Plantation Records) and does engineering and mixing work for other artists as well (most recently Grey Dawn Records artist Jon Crocker).

Noel has done background vocal work for other artists including Dietra Greene and Tony “Hobo” Parks. She is also a writer of fiction and poetry in addition to songwriting.

Noel’s voice has been compared to Stevie Nicks and Pat Benatar, and Iceberg’s lead guitar work has been compared to that of Neil Young. Together they create a fresh sound.
