Just for fun, I've posted this song here on SongPlanet. I'd just composed it a couple of days earlier, all full of piss and vinegar from having been canned from my job and dumped by my girlfriend within a week of each other, and I recorded it at a friend's house on her minidisc recorder. I was in the midst of an allergy attack, and Lisa's long-haired Persian cat chose that moment to take a shine to me. Lucky, lucky me. So, play this first version of "Blue Sky", and enjoy the schniffing of my runny nose, the lyrical flubs, and other assorted miscues as I bring my signature tune to life for the very first time!
