Shadows of enio (ride upon the storm)

This started out very slowish and moody, a bit like e-minor with no name!!!, but when i married it to a drum beat i found it transformed into a another catchy retro beatlesque stomper which i love doing!. Lyrically this ended up about the frustation of being sat on my arse in my safe life and with my safe job, i really need to get my shit together and DO SOMETHING worthwhile with my life and fast!! With regards to this song it actually made me quite emotional listening back when i finished the editing as the guitar lead and the tune and general ambience turned out as my ultimate musical wet dream!, having echoes of both "the Shadows" and "Ennio Morricone" both of which I love dearly!!! so its become an instant all time favorite of my own stuff and very encouraging to me to get out of the doldrums, naturally i then ended up with a title of "Shadows of Enio" although "Ride upon the Storm" made more sense so i used both!!:o). This is a different mix from the one which is on my cd "touch the sky" with a slightly better vocal and some jigging about and taming down of a few parts, i still am not crazy about the lead vox, i can sing it so much better when i play it with just an acoustic so i may well have another crack at it sometime in the future!
