The Main Street Players stake their alternative/funk/rock approach to songwriting as group since July of 2006. Tipping thier hat to Classic Rock, Funk and Blues Main Street's roots grow in Indie/Alternative soil giving an inspired outcome of hook phrasing and dynamic song structures. The four members consist of Jason Smith on lead Vocals and Jeff Frey on Guitar, Moses Martinez on Drums and the final element Dave Featherston on Bass.
The group has finished thier first recording at Nacnud Sound as of August 1rst. The ten song album is expected by the end of September rendering a string of CD release shows in Lodi, Stockton, Galt and Sacramento.
