Welcome to the land of grooves and grinds to blow your minds...the land of Sharp Tooth Benny!
Sharp Tooth Benny is a band that all true Blues and Rock enthusiasts are sure to enjoy. Their music is reminiscent of an early ZZ Top/George Thorogood style groove with hints of Social Distortion, Johnny Cash, Stone Temple Pilots & others slipping in from time to time. Toe tappin’, head noddin’, Blues driven rock that will make you move.

Sharp Tooth Benny’s new CD, “Slinky Sounds For Reptilian Lovers”, is a nine song original CD released in late March, 2006. From straight blues rock to heavier rock tunes and a number of stops in between, a very diverse group of musicians & friends have joined together to form this band and together Sharp Tooth Benny seems able to fill the void our music world has been feeling.

S.T.B. consists of former Saint's We Ain't drummer/ Big Block Rockers front man, Mike Mc Laury, crooning & belting out lead vocals and grooving’ on rhythm guitar, There’s also fellow songwriter, Terry Sheppard, previously of “Dr. Joy”. Terry dishes out some truly solid bass lines while providing soaring vocal harmonies on a number of the new songs. Well versed former “Saint’s We Ain’t” axe-slinger, Tate Sanderson wails on lead guitar, and talented newcomer Noah Bloom keeps things moving on drums/percussion. Special guest appearances are also made on two songs of the CD by the incredible, Tim Fennel of Motus on lead guitar. Mike, Terry and Noah provide a rocking musical foundation to stand on while “Little Man” Tate & Tim “The Teacher” fill the grooves with some scorching, yet soulful & tasteful leads.

While writing sure-to-be hits like, “Cadillac”, “I Never Thought” and “Looker”, Sharp Tooth Benny has also included some distinct new musical stylings of their own on this new CD with crowd favorites like, “Little Fishy”, “Everything Girl”, and of course, “Big Green Lizard“. There’s really something for just about everyone on this release as this album covers a lot of musical ground. This type of musical diversity gives the band a truly eclectic appeal that satiates their audiences and if you’re looking for something different in a band, you‘ve come to the right place because their intense sounds will capture you as they have thousands of others. These guys love to have fun and the live-shows exhibit an unusual amount of energy as crowds are usually treated to a bit of improvisation, some unexpected song selections, unexpected guests, and tons of fun during the shows..

Look for Sharp Tooth Benny all over the Web and be sure to keep your eyes & ears open as they’ll be touring the United States and breaking “Reptilian Lovers” hearts from coast to coast again soon!
