A little story. I light the candell to illuminate the room Im standing in front of a painting of a man That I never knew. My great great grandfather so I was told Living in this castle round 1880 and now It is sold to a lady a dutches of some kind Who got friendly with my father and my Mother did mind but what could she do. Nothing at all filed for divorce Took all the money and showed no remorse When he remarried she got this card to A ball in the fall, she thought it was fun And yet how cruel was that! She went anyway couldnt stay home And wait for the best was yet to come At the party a gentlemen asked her to dance All though she was in realy great pain Nothing to lose nothing to gain He looked in her eyes lips ready to meet She said; its killing me, he said; what Not you, my shoes my poor feet. He wanted to kiss ready to mate all that she wanted Was to dance not to date The one she had met had realy bad breath. The music went slow Like ten camels died a decade ago Calling her darling? She wasnt a ho So she went home to sit by the fire If she wanted a man there are plenty for hire She was finaly free A man in her life would only mean trouble She just had to wistle they were there on the double So she took it easy. I light the candell to illuminate the room Im standing in front of a painting of a man That I never knew. My great great grandfather so I was told Living in this castle round 1880 and now It is sold. |
