My name is Rab Thomson. I'm the wrong side of 50 and just back into writing, playing and recording after a brief 15 year hiatus.

I have played in everything from solo acoustic to heavy metal to an 11 piece reggae band and back again. A singer/songwriter playing soft folksy acoustic rock with a Celtic flavour should just about describe me!

My musical influences are somewhat varied. From Neil Young, Nick Drake and John Martyn via Cream, John Mayall and Mountain to Frank Zappa, Brian Eno and Peter Gabriel not forgetting Free, The Doors and Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac with more stops in between than I can count!
