my 5-string bass was lovin my reason 3 drums so I just had to compose this funky blues.. and it was funky from the start layin down all the bass and guitar parts.. even the pitch pipe was played live.. no jive.. all live.. no sequence.. no quantize.. margot and I then layered and weaved our vocal melodies and harmonies in and out as we pleased.. the icing on the cake being texas jake.. all the blues he cared to make.. and oh my.. for heaven sake..sounds like all of us live.. one take.. thank you king of slide.. texas jake.. and thank u margot.. baby.. this is just as much your mix as mine.. sounds fine.. :-) this is an 'if the shoe fits, wear it kinda thing.. problem is.. imposters often don't recognize themselves..
