Inspired for more than 20 years by high energy punk/hardcore bands like Minor Threat, Articles of Faith, Cause For Alarm and Sham 69 as well as politically charged bands the likes of Dead Kennedys and Crass, it felt right in the late 80s to also listen to traditional Irish and American folk music.

Blaggard has been an idea for 10 years that has finally come into being, blending my favourite parts of traditional folk music with punk.
