Freedom Falls are an indie /alternative rock band based in North Cornwall ,England , UK . They were formed in April 2005 and within one month were supporting an American Band called Glenn Kaiser and his blues band at a music festival in Devon ,England.They then recorded ten tracks for their debut album called "Finding me" and they released the album at a gig in November of 2005, they have been gigging around the local area promoting themselves and their album since, they have sold over 100 copies of the album too date.They have recently appeared at several music festivals and venues and are now getting ready to record another album for release at the end of this year or the beginning of the next year.
The band are all local lads and all very talented musicians in their own right , but when they get together they form a very tight and effective rock unit, their style is difficult to pin down but involves very riff based music and a certain blues tint to it , the vocals are all sung by Haydon Biddle who wrote all the songs , the lead guitar is by Alec Horn , the drums are by Ben Samuels and the bass player is Tristan Pett who has just recently joined the band.
The plan is to increase their fanbase and widen the area in which they perform , this is a long term objective and they do not envisage or anticipate overnight stardom , they rather see themselves as a lasting rock band who can stand the test of time and keep on increasing their album sales and hopefully get a record deal someday, in the meantime if you like your rock energetic and tight come along and see this band perform--You will not be dissappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!
