With the advent of the internet and sites such as Soundclick and Myspace there are many more opportunities for us to 'meet' and 'get to know' people from all over the planet. In this new world we can be whatever we want to be and can make others' profiles into almost anything we desire. This is an alien environment we have not evolved to exist in; I imagine it is something like heaven: a disembodied, addictive, sometimes gratifying but ultimately frustrating place to live. Out of all the stuff I've written, 'Are you there' and 'Fridge says' are my favourites and have also had the least plays on any site I've put them. Shows what I know... Over Chameleon drum loops I've added acoustic bass, cellos and violins, piano, Sonic Stop guitar loops, Fender Rhodes and ethereal effects. Two acoustic guitars, lots of harmonies and a single lead vocal complete this ballad which I finished in late November 2006.
