Taken from the album, 'The sentence that I serve'. Some jazzy, bluesy chords and a couple of lines of lyrics assaulted me as I was finishing 'I wish', so I took a detour and recorded this instead. I sequenced tremeloed Rhodes (I like that sound), acoustic bass (and that one too), strings, and some ethereal sounds onto an AMG 'Dance Diffusion' drum loop; Rebecca's sax solo completes the backing track, with a single lead vocal on top. It was written and recorded in two and a half days, mid April 2006.
