jill no jack is best known for the popular Indie music podcasts she produces from her own site, IndieHeart.com. These include the "Heart of the Night Show" (Rock, Alternative, Indie, Contemporary Folk, Experimental, and other genres) and the "TransAtlantic Acoustic Show" (co-hosted by Sam Salter of the UK), which spotlights tradtional to contemporary folk, blues, and other acoustic genres.
In addition to the shows she produces, jill no jack is also a musician. She creates entirely for fun these days, writing and performing hastily-recorded folk music around her hectic schedule. Although jill no jack no longer performs professionally, she has a near life-long history performing in bands from rock to country to blues, and all of these influences can be felt in her strong vocal performances.
All of jill no jack's music that is currently available on the internet can be downloaded for free at IndieHeart and Soundlift. (The songs at Soundlift are electronica/electro collaborations, if you prefer that to a folk sound.)
