| About |
I started making up songs when I was only 4 or 5 years old, most of which were just remakes of songs I'd heard on the radio. My first actual dated song writing effort was from 1975; I was in fourth grade. I started playing guitar at about that time as well. From about 1992 until about 1998 I played various coffee houses in the St. Cloud Minnesota area that had open mic nights. I've been recording on the four track in my living room since I bought my own in '94. A huge thanks goes to Joel Kelly for teaching me how sing harmony.
For quite some time Joel Kelly and I performed as a duo called Dream Pudding. We played several gigs for free, I think we landed $4 or $5 at some coffee house from the generous patrons, but we mainly did it to get our music out there. We were played a couple times of the local college radio station. I'm certain a few Dream Pudding tracks will end up on this site.
Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention my wife and son as being two of the bigger influences on my music for today. It is for them that I keep writing and playing.
I hope you enjoy what you hear, and if you will, drop a line letting me know what you think. |
