Location: Kalamazoo Michigan (now defunct)
formed long before my arrival (redstarrising) in Detroit by a bunch of hardy kids (16 and 17 years old). They decided screw this, were moving to Kalamazoo... So John, Josh and Ian (former drummer) along with Chris hoof it out to the zoo and start a new life. They had a clarinet and no bass player as well as hand percussion when I first saw them in 96. They played at a coffee joint I managed. Yes... they were young hippies (LOL) but we ended up writing some really incredable songs. Irridescence formally broke up in 1999. shame.
damn, almost forgot... sevodnya (Syeh - Vohd -- Nya) means Today in russian... I was studying that language at the time... |
