2 Pistols
 Location: Tarpon Springs Fl. Aka

Rapper Jeremy Saunders, better known as 2-Pistol’s, was born on June 11, 1983 to Maefrancis and William Lee Saunders Jr. He was an 80’s baby, raised in a small urban town, Tarpon Springs, which is about 30 to 45 minutes away from Tampa, FL. Growing up as a child was very hard for Jeremy because his mother, father, and oldest brother Anthonye, were in prison for more than 60% of his life. As a kid, he dreamed of playing pro-football, but he was only 5’7” a 145lbs. Although he rushed 1,700 yards as a senior at Tarpon Springs High School; it just didn’t happen. His girlfriend at the time got pregnant and his baby girl Shaniya was born in May of 2001. He was just a baby himself, raising a baby of his own.
That same year, he began to get more serious about music. He used to be in a work experience program called OJT that allowed him to leave school and work in his studio, which his second oldest brother William Saunders funded. William was the one that put the fire into his younger brother to look at the bright side. “You can’t play ball forever” he used to say, “You need money now that school is all most over, and you have a daughter to feed and take care of. With rap, sky’s the limit, I know you’re tight, I’ve been listening to you, see I’m a hustler, I aint got nothing but my hustling skill’s. So I’m gone take this dope money and make a way for us; you just keep spittin the real shit. I know we aren’t the only cats that grew up thuggin in public.” About four months later, William was arrested for drug trafficking.
Around the same time, Jeremy ran in to a CEO named Don P, owner of a local label Bulldawg Entertainment; which at the time had a distribution deal through Southwest distribution. 2-Pistol’s had a street buzz with a song titled “Dirty Foots,” a club track that had the dope boys going crazy. Don P signed 2-Pistol’s with a one album deal in November 2002. His mind was focused on getting his brother William out of jail and giving the streets what they wanted, a true rapper. It seemed that they were rooting for the underdog with Don P. Taking care of the business, 2-Pistol’s was able to work with many famous artists, such as: Lil Jon, B.G., Juvenile, Jadakiss, Nivea, and Jagged Edge. In the process of recording his debut album, BullDawg Entertainment was shut down and placed under federal investigation. This left 2-Pistol’s with his hands tied and his brother William was still in jail.
How could he put out his music with no money? He started to hustle, selling water to the whales, with all the stress riding on his shoulders. He has still yet to crack, patiently waiting on his time to shine. The time is not now or is it? You be the judge…

R.I.P. Anthonye “Twitta” Williams, Jeremy’s oldest brother, who was brutally killed while in prison, for eleven years, in February 2003.
