I grew up half of my life in New York, and the other half in North Carolina. My music is a reflection of this schizophrenic upbringing. A lucky break dropped a couple of tickets to go see Neil Young when I was 16, and that changed my musical tastes. Out with Rush, in with the good stuff!! You'll hear that my songs are Rootsy on one hand, but with the modern urban themes that traditional country won't touch. I like to call my music Alt Country Blues, and you'll hear that defined in my songs. I throw in Swamp Delta Blues licks sometimes, but then I'll twang away on my Tele just for good measure. I have a new cd nearing completion, and some songs that will be on it are featured here for you to enjoy. Check back, more songs are coming and I hope to have everything done by Xmas.
