I penned this piece in rememberence of an old matinee hero of mine namely((joe mcdotes) way back in the 50's...Know dialogue involved in the short movie...just joe's observations and thoughts while oggling from behind a Giant pool ball.....number 8 of course.........ps, I wonder if any of the writers here on this wonderful site called songplanet have any knowledge of the series?. PPS,I COULD WRONG ABOUT THE TITLE BUT, IT WAS AN AMERICAN HALF HOUR SERIES FOR KIDS SHOWN ON BRITISH CINEMA'S IN THE LATE 40'S EARLY 50'S THE TITLE I REMEMBER, BUT DON'T QOUTE ME BECAUSE IT WAS OVER HALF A CENTURY AGO WAS(JOE BEHIND THE EIGHT BALL.
