| "Victory's Cry" | |
| Dont incite me with ear-piercing throngs. Dont excite me with misleading songs. Dont expect me to blindly submit. Its time to respect me-and climb out of this pit. Todays victory cry embraces the world. Will never deny anyone. Everyone will live by this victory cry! We are no longer amused, Nor lost and confused. We have always been refused, Slighted, torn, and used. Right beneath the bitter surface, The culprit swings the axe. Hidden from the public eyesight, There within the teeming cracks. All the recipes weve tried, Have failed to find or coincide. With joy or peace, the things everlasting, We cant go on bombing and blasting. Out victory cry must reflect the inner progress that we have lived and died for. We must no longer sigh and cannot expect to not digress, Unless we bring peace in front and not beside our futures door. | |
