Southern Etiquette is currently in the studio being completed and mixed down onto my new album titled "Southern Etiquette". This is a rough version of it so please bear in mind it is not mixed and mastered yet. But I wanted to get at least one or two off my album on here , so here it is.. Ill leave it up to your imagination what really happens in the end of this classic Southern Rock song......This is the title song off my CD coming out Jan 10th, 2005. Produced and Recorded at Holler Studios in Coalmont Tennessee by my good friends Jake Caldwell. Southern Etiquette Performed by: Johnny Rodes Lyrics by: Johnny Rodes and Renee Nicole Morgan: ASCAP Members Music by: Johnny Rodes:ASCAP Guitars/& slide: Dirk Weaver Drums: Jake Caldwell Theres something happening in a small Indiana town Theres thunder rumbling and the lightning coming down And you dont hear me as I ride into town The skys on fire and I cant feel the ground Chorus Im coming back home for you tonight Gonna teach you some southern etiquette girl if thats alright Im coming back home just for you I loved you once but now P.S. baby were through I throw her memories and the ring upon the floor All her pictures lie there tattered now and torn And here I sit fighting a raging storm...
