InZaneCountry
 Location: Bristol (UK)

Written for the album 'FairyTale', dedicated to a special person.

InZaneCountry is George Bolam. I do it all, write it, play it, record it. Every sound you hear is me. Can an Englishman write and play country? We'll see, huh?

What I'm doing is telling a story, a story of a very special friendship, my friendship with an extraordinary person, who means a great deal to me.
Donna lives with her family, 4500 miles away from England, where I live, in Ohio. She is bright, funny, gutsy and brave, I think the world of her, and I want the rest of her life to be happy and fun, because much of her life has been difficult, up to now. I'm gonna change a few things for her. I'm gonna do this thing, both for me and for her, so that she realises just how special, unique and worthwhile she is, and how she should be so proud of herself and her family. If you want to help, play the songs, write to me, let me know your thoughts on the music. You want to know more about my friend Donna? Ask, I'll tell you about her.

Soon, I'll finish the album; only two or three tracks to go. 'FairyTale' is InZaneCounty's debut album and it will be available in a couple of weeks.

 Hello, Musical Pilgrim!

Sincerely, thank you for visiting my Songplanet site. I'm pretty pleased to be here, this is a great concept, with very helpful and friendly people running it.
I'm not going to pull any punches, I mean business with my music. I'm here to get it heard, get it played and sell it. I'm not here just because I like playing and writing, (though, clearly, I love it), but because it's what I want to do for a living, when I'm a good enough writer. I'll get there too, make no mistake!
I'm not a singer, I sing because it gives me the freedom to record what I want, how I want it to sound. I understand the concept behind it, better than anyone, 'cause I wrote it. So, no apologies, just an explanation. I record this stuff on my PC, never anywhere else. Every track is recorded 'on the fly', just like a live performance. I can make records for peanuts, guys, so, if you want to make money, offer me a deal and I'll look at it. Hope you enjoy the music, and hey, I'd be pleased to hear from anyone who stops by to listen. Cheers, George, InZaneCountry.
