"BLACK HEART/COLD STEEL" info this song is NOT SAFE FOR NEOCONS. you've been warned.... thanks to Alex Hidell and Adrastefire for the awe inspiring, MIND NUMBING hatred that fueled this song....LOL...hope it sucks enough for you two hate-mongering xtians. =) this was originally done by me in the band AVATAR back in the early 90's...it's changed quite a bit since then. this is the demo....5.83mb, 128kbs.... this is the final version of this, at least the first mix of it. hope you dig it...fight the NWO..... LOL everything you hear is me...except the Drums, played by my musical compatriot and Brother in Deutschland Whiteaxxxe... http://www.whiteaxxxe.de ...he recorded this after downloading this song....and played drums OVER my lame, lame drum machine part....then uploaded it to his website last night for me, which for me was first thing in the morning...i downloaded it, re-expanded the mp3 into a wav file and remixed the whole thing with Whiteaxxxe 's drum track. i am totally jazzzed to make music with another musician on the other side of the world....and i think his part brought the entire track to life, and for this i will be eternally grateful; i look forward to colaborating more with the man in the future... Whiteaxxxe, here's to you!!!(cracks a brewskie) Sorry Barry... =) helluva job for a guitar player!!! anyways... my main guitars on this trackare dano longhorn bass, fender esquire , fender strat.homebrew talkbox....synths are Angelina, a freeware VSTi made by BigTick ( http://bigtick.pastnotecut.org) and EVM Synths' EVM-GrandPiano-VSTv1 (http://www.sinte-virtual.com/evmsynths )...also played my strat on a new track and added a faint sitar to the bridges doubling the guitar and some dual celled hammond organism... Me and Jim Koenicke wrote this back in 1991, he wrote the original lyrics, i wrote the music... the new lyrics barely resemble the original, but he deserves credit anyways. =) this was recorded entirely with AUDACITY, an open source mutitracker program that truly rocks. anyways, as always feedback is welcome... sorry for the shameless self promotion, you know the egos on us guitar slingers.. anyways, thanks for listening.. peace out jimi pocius
