C M Location: New Jersey
With roots as a classically trained trumpet and French horn player, CM's musical vocabulary has evolved over the last 25 years to encompass many different genres, all contributing to his unique style. After playing with Willie Ruff and the Yale Jazz Ensemble, as well as the Yale Symphonic Band, CM was an active musician in NYC during the 80s, playing trumpet in a Brooklyn
calypso band, writing and recording many songs, and leading his own band. After a hiatus from music, he resumed composing and recording again in 2000.
Shades of Grey (February 2004) represents a chronicle of CM's musical activities during 2003. CM and friends bring together many colors from the
musical palette in this eclectic collection, from fusion and smooth jazz thru swing and film music and more. The people involved in writing and recording
this music are all highly creative and accomplished musicians in the online indie music scene: Bill Lawrence, Filippo Bertacche, Carl Eichman, Bob
Johnson, Bob Gaynor, Steve Arms, Lord Bygon, David Farewell23, Robert Krolage and Dolly & Mitch Rappaport. To preview and purchase Shades of Grey, visit http://www.cdbaby.com/cm2. For the latest information about CM, visit http://www.freeaudioplayer.com/cm.
