Leaving Jezebel is an Alternative/Rock band out of Birmingham, AL. The band was formed 1998 by Jim Blackmon and Cade Knight and since 1999, have been known as Leaving Jezebel. Members are: Jim Blackmon (Vocals and guitar) - Muscle Shoals. AL, Cade Knight (drums and percussion) - Jackson, Mississippi, Daniel Simpson (lead guitar) - Birmingham,AL, Nate Jarmon (bass) - Birmingham, AL, Jason Smith (guitar) - Birmingham, AL.

We have played locally in the Birmingham area only (so far) but hope to reach a broader audience. The lyrics are by Jim and the music is written either individually or collectively by the various members and attributed to the band as a whole
